Ultrasonic Homogenizer (Non-contact) UHS-B12
The UHS-B12 Ultrasonic Homogenizer (Non-contact) is a cup-shaped homogenizer with a disruption capacity of 3 L. Operating at a frequency of 20 KHz ± 1 KHz, it is specifically designed for the disruption of cells, emulsification, and homogenization of diverse biological samples, even in volumes as small as 5 μL. This homogenizer is suitable for breaking up chromosomes and aseptically crushing cells within a centrifugal glass tube.

Features
- Cup Tip style enables non-contact homogenization of micro-scale samples
- Eliminates dregs circumstances associated with traditional probe methods
- Processes samples in sealed cup tubes, eliminating aerosols and enhancing biological safety (e.g., Mycobacterium)
- Allows simultaneous processing of multiple vials containing sterile or pathogenic samples
- Programmed uninterrupted rotation of the centrifuge tube facilitates uniform distribution of ultrasonic energy
- An essential standard device for ChIP (chromatin immune precipitation) and DNA shear research platforms
- Offers higher efficacy, steadfast results, and good repeatability
- Utilizes a standardized experimental method and advanced parameter settings
- Optional coolant circulation system available to maintain a temperature of 4 °C in the Eppendorf tube rotating base
Applications
Applied in bimolecular fragmentation, cell disruption, ChIP assay (Chromatin immune precipitation), next-generation sequencing DNA, elution of membrane proteins, homogeneous emulsification reactions, and the pre-treatment of ultrasonically delicate samples.
